Now that the new Council / Councillors have been sworn in and the first Council meeting has been held we can get back to the business at hand.
Councillor Peter Harle has been elected as Deputy Mayor unanimously and unopposed.
Thè Mayor of Liverpool lodged a Mayoral minute to establish a Community Action Group regarding the Parks which in my opinion is another stalling tactic after years of inaction, which I have addressed.

Good Afternoon Mr Breton
I refer to my email below regarding Edmondson Park and advise that I am unable to locate a reply.
I also note that during the Council meeting held on Wednesday the 16th of October that part of a Mayoral minute was to establish a Community Action Group in Edmondson Park regarding Parks.
I honestly believe that doing that would be a waste of Ratepayers money and Staff time.
I have been advocating for the Parks in Edmondson Park since 2019 and I could give you, staff and Councillors a briefing on what has transpired over the last 5 years and provide a plan of action IF I was aware of the current situation regarding the remaining sites.
The solution is simple acquire the outstanding sites and get Fraser's Development to meet their obligations of providing a park in lieu of Development Contributions.
The master plan map showing all the parks has been available for year's.
I am happy to meet with you and Staff before the next Council meeting to discuss this further.

I refer to my previous email from October 2023 and the reply received from Mr John Ajaka CEO of Liverpool Council.
As it has been 10 months since the last information was received.
In addition would you please specifically advise what is happening with regard to the VPA by Frasers Development to construct the park on the eastern side of Ed Square ?
I would also draw your attention to the online petition that I am running which currently has over 400 signatures
This is the latest update that I have posted.
It would be appreciated if you could provide an update on the various sites in Edmondson Park as this hss been an ongoing issue for years.
