This is a picture of me, Lori Miller, who started this Petition. The other images are of my mother. This urn belongs to me. I have all the paperwork to prove it. My mother's urn was promised to be returned to me after I moved to Stockton. I asked for it back, and I was told no. I was told no, because I was accused of stealing something. Whatever it was, I have no idea because I am not a thief by any means, which is more than I can say for some people. I went to court, and the court system let me down. They didn't even really discuss the urn. I don't feel I got my fair chance in court. I don't think the judge really even believed me until the last day of court. I was put on a re4wstra9ini8ntg order for five years, because outside of the courtroom, I was very mad and upset, so I told the defendant I was going to break both of his knees. So he filed a restraining order against me and said he was scared for his life. I apologized to the court and to the defendant for saying what I said. Please, I need your signatures because the defendant isn't afraid of his life; he just doesn't want me to be able to see my mother's urn. He has kept the urn from me for 10 years. I have suffered every birthday, Christmas, Easter, and every other holiday there is. Do you think this is fair? I don't. I want what is mine back. My mother left me her ashes. I have the signatures of my siblings to prove this. If you can do anything for anyone, please sign my petition. I have endured years of constant heartache. I deserve to have it back. I took care of her for 10 years before she passed away. If given the chance, I would do it all over again. So when you see my petition, don't just pass it up; really know what I've been through and what this petition is really about. Please, if you see my petition, sign it for me, so my petition will be taken very seriously. Please don't pass it by, that's all I am asking. Thank you in advance.
