Wednesday's hearing in the Senate Judiciary & Public Safety Committee was a huge success! Thank you so much to everyone who provided in-person and written testimony in support of SB 43 - while some legislators are still willfully ignorant of the fact that Wisconsin survivors, Rise, and other survivors advocacy groups have been asking for an ambitious sexual assault kit processing time limit for years, your words and stories were incredibly powerful and eloquent, and helped get us closer to getting SB 43 to the floor of the Wisconsin Senate!

Thank you once again to everyone who has signed this petition - we have nearly 500 signatures now, and we would love to get to 1,000 in the next two weeks! If you have not yet done so, please sign and share this petition on social media and with people in your life who support survivors' rights!

We do not expect further action from the Judiciary Committee for at least the next couple of weeks, but we will be posting regular updates and letting you know how you can help get SB 43 across the finish line!
