Dear Supporters,
Over 12,000 of you have signed this petition demanding justice for Jose and Josue Trejo. Your voices are helping elevate this story to national attention—and more importantly, they are giving these young men hope in an incredibly difficult time.
Today, Josue is missing his high school graduation. This never should have happened.
As we continue pursuing every legal and humanitarian avenue to bring them home, we are now collecting letters of support from members of the public to include in our filings. If you’ve been moved by their story, your letter—no matter how brief—can help demonstrate the overwhelming public concern about their treatment and the urgency of their return.
If you’d like to write a letter, here’s what to include:
- Why their story moved you.
- What their case says about our immigration system.
- Why you support efforts to bring them back.
- A sentence affirming your belief in justice, compassion, and second chances.
This letter should be signed by you and addressed "To Whom It May Concern." Please keep your letter respectful and focused on the human story. While this case has broader implications, we encourage letters that avoid political or polarizing language so we can best support the legal efforts underway.
Please email your letter (PDF or Word document preferred) to:

Thank you for continuing to stand with Jose and Josue.
With deep gratitude,
Ala Amoachi, Esq.
