Demand Justice for Technicolor Creative Studios' Unpaid and Uninformed Dismissals

The Issue

I write this petition not just as an individual, but as the voice of the 2000 employees from Technicolor Creative Studios in India who were dismissed without notice, left unpaid for their services in February, clearly confirmed by country head that no full and final settlement, no thought of retrenchment and who have been left in a state of anxiety and traumatized. This blatant abuse by the employer has come at the cost of our peace of mind, and our means to fulfill daily necessities like food, water, and rent.

This exploitation of Indian citizens cannot go unnoticed. Is it right for a corporate body to disregard their employees' livelihoods so carelessly? The Government of India must step in and protect us, much like how other nations stand up for their citizen's welfare, such as in Poland for instance.

Furthermore, as personally affected employees, the company has kept us in the dark about the handling of our Tax Deducted at Source (TDS). Not only were we not paid for our hard work, but the taxes deducted from our salaries seem to have never reached the government. This predicament has added to our distress, realizing the company's utter disregard for upholding employees' legal rights.

Every individual deserves fair treatment at their workplace, especially regarding timely payments and necessary notifications about changes in their employment status. We demand an immediate intervention by the Government of India to protect its citizens from such exploitation.

Please, sign this petition to support our call for justice, and to send a clear message to corporations that this gross exploitation is unacceptable. Let's stand together against such injustice.
