Vlad and Paul spoke to 7 News Miami today.

They claim their innocence and speak up against this nonsense of a case, which the Makarenko family doesn't need to be associated with in the first place!

“All their case was built on the statement of one man, and the statement is, unfortunately, unreliable. It was full of lies,” said Vladyslav.

“It’s been five months. If they did something, prove it. If you’re ready to drop some charges, you see that something is wrong. Make it quick,” said Pavlo.

Police had enough time to investigate in this case, to gather enough evidence for or against the Makarenko's. But the reality is there is NO EVIDENCE against the Makarenko's that would give grounds to keeping them in custody any longer (or  arresting them in the first place)! We're at a point now, almost 12 MONTHS after the alleged incident, where innocent people are still suffering behind bars because NO INVESTIGATION has been done throughout all this time and there is absolutely NO EVIDENCE against them as a family. 

This is a combination of 1) false reporting of the alleged victim with lies to intentionally hurt and destroy this family's reputation and 2) the failure of the legal system in their duties to investigate and protect innocent people.
