Clovis (on the left in the photo above) was originally named Spider and was first rescued from a hoarding case back in 2017 that was worked by Twist of Fate, Rancho Relaxo, Goats of Anarchy and Freedom Farm. This case is actually a sad  example of how better laws need to be put into place in order to protect animals - the person who failed Spider the first time turned around and did the exact same thing to the animals on their property again in 2019.

The other goat pictured above, Stickers, was rescued from the same location first and then Spider came along a little bit after. The photo is from November of 2017 - Ashley posted about Spider & Stickers again on Patreon later that month, and then never again on that platform, though they may have been shared on the Instagram or Facebook pages.

Spider was spotted on the former Twist of Fate property back in July of last year as the only goat living with a cow and a potbelly pig. He was originally going to be adopted to live at a private home, but after seeing how timid and scared he was, Marla from The Riley Farm Rescue (@therileyfarmrescue) decided to take him in since she believed that he would be a good fit to live with the gentle, kind group in their 'Misfit Barn'. He was renamed 'Clovis' because it means "someone who fights for survival", which is exactly what he had to do. When he was introduced to the other gentle animals of his new herd family, he quickly made friends and could finally start to relax and put his past behind him.

The other little goat, Stickers, was not on the list of survivors but it is believed that he may be one of the goats that Ashley DiFelice took with her to Pennsylvania when she fled New Jersey. If that is the case, then we hope that Stickers is still alive and that he is regularly getting food and water and receiving attention and vet care.

It is so wonderful that Clovis was rescued and gets to live out the rest of his life in sanctuary with friends and having his basic needs taken care of by his new human family at Riley Farm. To see what Clovis looks like now all grown up and thriving, head over to their Instagram @therileyfarmrescue to follow him and the other animals (Riley Farm rescued a total of 6 animals from the Twist of Fate cruelty case, and the other 5 will all have their stories shared soon!). If you'd like to help with Clovis' care, you can send donations via their website, Venmo, CashApp, or PayPal (all linked on their Instagram profile and website). To make a monthly donation towards his care or anyone else's at the sanctuary, you can join their Patreon for any amount or sponsor one of the animals by joining their Hoof Patrol. They also have an Amazon Wishlist and adorable merch for sale here and on Bonfire. AND if you're near the Canterbury, CT area or want to plan a trip, you can book a private tour of Riley Farm here!!

Thank you for being here.  Please stay tuned to see whose story is next!

Also, please continue to share the petition - Ashley DiFelice's next court date is September 14th, and since the court is aware of the petition we'd like to get as many signatures and comments on it as possible before then. Thank you!
