On August 24,2026 I was found not guilty by a jury of my peers on the charges that had been made against me. For the last year and half I have been dealing with the weight and stress of what happened the night of March 23. I'm in shock at the fact that no one throughout this ordeal was never concerned with the fact that a child was in harms way and was being attacked by a adult. Texas laws have clear portal call when a minor is involved in violence and alcohol involved, yet nothing was done to make the minor a priority or to keep her safe, they were more concerned about the adult's that got what they deserved by putting their hands on my child. I was made to feel as if what the law said should of been done was a figment of my imagination and that the way things were handled by the police were done by the book, but nothing the police did was by the book nor did it match what the law clearly states is suppose to happen. I'm not sure what needs to come next but I do know I feel less protected by law enforcement more than I ever have before, now my child feels like calling the police is a waste of effort due to everything see witnessed during my trial being in the same room with so called professionals acting anything but professional. It's a shame to know that a innocent person can and will go to jail get charged and be forced to endure all the none sense of being made to feel small and unimportant forced to go through fear tactics trying to make you plea out instead of fighting for the truth.
