Hello Folks:
Thanks to the efforts of all of you who believe in an impartial judiciary and are appalled by Justice Alito's unethical behavior, our petition has blown up. Over seven thousand of you signed in a single day. Amazing!
How hopeful it is to know that so many people are committed to restoring an impartial, non-political Supreme Court. A Supreme Court which actually believes in equality and fairness under the law. A Supreme Court that we can trust and respect. Those are the very reasons for our Petition.
I am so extremely grateful to the numerous nonprofits, social service agencies, justice groups, women's organizations, youth associations, housing groups, food security agencies and other providers and advocacy groups who generously disseminated our petition. Without their help, our petition would not have become so successful, so quickly. These providers work tirelessly to help those who are underrepresented, disenfranchised, marginalized, and unheard. Their work to help those in need is worthy of our support. To all these wonderful organizations - thank you, thank you, thank you!
I hope that this positive update motivates all of us to work even harder. If we continue to raise our voices in protest and persist in taking actions to promote our values, we surely must prevail.
