A council planning meeting will decide if Valencia can have retrospective planning in Canterbury it is happening tomorrow at 11th Sept at 10am it will be webcast, link found at the bottom of this message. Also at the same link you can view the full council feedback on the application.
The head of planning at the council report says "Recommendation: Permission be granted subject to conditions."
It must be highlighted fences are still broken and down at the Canterbury site and this must not be down played, the basics are not being done they ignored concens and did not fix.
A so called community meeting happened last week on Friday with some locals and Valencia, however no minutes have been shared as yet on who attended and what was said oddly, so waiting for that as well.
Plus none of the documents promised by Valencia at the site meeting before that were shared prior to this.
One hopes Kent Council take note and research into the wider issues at these sites and start overseeing what is happening, its odd how such a giant commercial building was able to be built with out planning in place.
The site in Dunbar Valencia also run, had a fire for five days last year it was very concerning to hear first hand how poorly that situation was handled from a community councilor and locals who live there.
