Thank you for your email and your dedication to enhancing the quality of our natural areas and parks.  Nob Hill is such a great location and we understand the importance of preserving its beauty and enjoyment for those that visit. We do consider this area to be a natural area so we typically will not place a trash can in this location.  Trash cans are strategically placed along the adjacent trail near benches for our trail users.  The bench you reference is a memorial bench which is not part of our main infrastructure. 

However, I have reached out to our Environmental Services department as this area is part of their Adopt A Spot program.  I requested their help in contacting the organization assigned to this location to see if they can assist in picking up trash.  During mowing season, city staff will also pick up trash in this area as part of their regular schedule.
