Arizona families deserve transparency in behavioral health care. While researching behavioral health providers and treatment facilities, I reviewed publicly available business records and found that some operators appear to be connected to multiple LLCs and related business entities. This can make it difficult for families to understand who owns, manages, or profits from facilities that care for vulnerable youth. My petition calls for greater transparency, stronger oversight, and easier access to information about facility ownership, billing practices, and regulatory actions. Families should be able to clearly see who is responsible for the care being provided and how taxpayer and insurance dollars are being spent. Thousands of Arizona children rely on AHCCCS and behavioral health services. When concerns arise regarding treatment, billing, staffing, or regulatory compliance, parents and community members deserve access to accurate information and meaningful accountability.
