Following the attacks on Oct 7, the university was quick to release a statement condemning the attacks on Israel. However, it has now been over a month since Israel began bombarding Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip killing over 11,500+ innocence civilians in which 4,500+ are children, and targeting every university in Gaza--the university is yet to remain silent.
