Hi,
I hope this message finds you well. I want to take a moment to update you on the progress of our petition and the actions I have taken regarding the applicable grievances we have been communicating about.
Thanks to your dedication, we have managed to gather over 300 signatures, averaging about 10 signatures per day within the month of the petition being created. Your commitment to this cause has been nothing short of remarkable, and I want to express my gratitude for the donations, signatures, shares, and comments fearlessly posted about personal experiences or shared sentiments.
Regarding the formal steps I have taken to address the issues at hand, I have been proactive in filing complaints with various authorities and organizations:
- I have submitted multiple Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act complaints, which resulted in an interview with an investigator.
- Additionally, I filed a complaint with the Office of Civil Rights, which resulted in two interviews.
- To ensure all avenues are explored, I also filed a complaint with the Department of Justice. However, the DOJ has advised that OCR will be handling the matter at this time.
- In the pursuit of justice, I have not hesitated to file a School Ethics complaint against Board Members who support poor conduct by the superintendent/principal and staff, leading to a racially charged hostile environment.
- Additionally, I filed a corruption complaint with the Attorney General's office, and they have assigned an attorney to handle the applicable submission.
- I have also filed a complaint against with the Division of Consumer Affairs.
- As some of you might be aware, there were other incidents of racial bullying during the 2021-2022 school year, which resulted in a proposed settlement of $20,000 for payment to a private school. However, due to the other party's lack of compliance, the settlement via the NJDOE's Office of Administrative Law fell through. We are now preparing to move forward with a trial regarding the events during that time frame, and the date for the trial will be set on October 5, 2023, during a phone conference.
- On top of these formal complaints, I have been proactive in communicating my grievances through various channels. I have sent multiple emails to appointed Ventnor Public School District Board Members, the Atlantic County Department of Education, the Governor's office, and the New Jersey Department of Education.
In addition to pursuing justice for my family, I am diligently conducting research to ensure a well-prepared approach to pressing criminal charges and filing a civil suit for false reporting. I will keep you all informed once I have a clear plan in place. Your continued support is invaluable during this crucial phase
While it has been my sincere desire to enroll my children in another school out of the district that only includes one elementary and middle school, I want to assure you that my dedication to challenging the professional and personal character misconduct we have encountered will not waver. The well-being and safety of all students, including my own, remain at the forefront of my mind, and I am determined to see this through to its rightful resolution. I sincerely hope that our collective efforts and initiatives lead to positive outcomes.
Rest assured that I will continue to keep you all updated on the latest developments and progress of our activities. However, if you have any questions or inquiries at any time, please don't hesitate to reach out—I will surely respond.
Thank you,
Diamonnique
