To the 6,000+ of you who demanded transparency: Cambridge has finally given us an answer, but it is a brutal one.
Because of the massive systemic security failures we highlighted, Cambridge has officially cancelled the original Pure 3 paper. They have confirmed there will be no calculated grades. Instead, they are forcing a mandatory global replacement exam on Monday, June 8th.
For many of you sitting Variant 2, this means you are facing the nightmare of taking the Pure 3 retake on June 8th, followed immediately by the Pure 1 retake on June 9th.
I know you are exhausted and angry. You have every right to be. But right now, we have exactly 18 days to save your grades and protect your university conditional offers. We cannot change Cambridge's decision, but we can out-work it.
