Every student deserves to be treated fairly and given the same opportunity to learn, participate, and be heard. However, there are times when students feel that certain people are given more consideration, opportunities, or privileges than others.

When students experience this, it can be frustrating and discouraging. It can also make students feel that their efforts do not matter if they believe that opportunities are not being given fairly.

This petition is not about targeting or blaming specific individuals. It is about asking our school to promote fairness and equal treatment among students. We believe that school rules, opportunities, responsibilities, and disciplinary decisions should be handled consistently and transparently, regardless of a student’s background, status, connections, or position.

We are asking for clearer guidelines on how decisions involving students are made, a safe and confidential way for students to report concerns, and a fair process for addressing complaints. Students should also have the opportunity to express their concerns without fear of being ignored or treated differently afterward.

A school should be a place where students feel respected and valued. Fair treatment helps create an environment where students can focus on learning, participate confidently, and know that their efforts are recognized.
