I hope you are enjoying the crisp fall weather. It is really turning my attention to school and the need to get to work planning for this year and next year.

It would be an enormous help if you could get some new signatures on the petition today. Please do consider sharing the petition on your social media. 

Also, we have been at the same number for a few days. Could you help us with a nudge to get in motion again? Please consider flagging down a friend or family member and walking them through the signing process. Greasing the wheels does a lot to gather community energy.

Some of the feedback we have received is that some people are feeling like "the current, interim Superintendent is good enough, so what's the big deal?"

Though, the project to create an inclusive, community inspired search process is bigger than one person or one school year. Riverhead RASi wants to initiate a visioning process that will get buy-in from many communities, empower the community to create a vision for the future for their schools, and recruit a candidate who will care enough about our district to stay a long time, and care enough about all of the students to create the harmony we need for future growth, happiness, and success.
