It has come to my attention that some people are finding conflicting information on ARU's stance on the ongoings in Gaza. While Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) hasn't explicitly spoken out against Israel, the university has acknowledged the conflict in Israel and Gaza and expressed support for those affected by the violence. ARU has released a statement acknowledging the "terrible events taking place in Israel, Gaza, and Ukraine" and emphasizing that their "hearts go out to all those caught up in the appalling violence". However, the university has yet to release a public statement on behalf of the entire institution condemning Israel's ongoing siege. Whilst some individuals have expressed their support for Palestine, we still demand a statement on behalf of the university. This will help cement to students and the community that Anglia Ruskin is capable of upholding values of inclusivity, knowledge, and justice for all.

Edit: For those who have voiced concern at the lack of updates on this petition, unfortunately I am just one person who just so happens to suffer from a debilitating neurological disorder. So, whilst I continue to aim for a Free Palestine and increased awareness of the complicity of institutions, I am greatly affected by my medical needs and therefore am not always available to provide updates and respond to concerns.
