It has been awhile since the last update but I was trying to let the process of justice take its course.  It is a sad day that justice has not protected our children. She was ONLY given 6 months probation.  The victim minor has endured surgery, counseling and physical therapy that could last a lifetime.  Her PTSD has not subsided causing lasting emotional trauma.  I feel justice has not provided a significant punishment. Minors that have assaulting other minors should have harsher penalties.  Have we not learned from Preston Lords tragic death?   Minors should be held accountable for their actions not matter what their age.  If we don’t take action while they are minors what will happen as adults?   I am sad and angry regarding our judicial system but still hopeful as a community we can make a difference.
