With your help, we can improve the chances for a happier New Year!
 
Our petition in support of the Rosenthal/Jackson state bill has been signed by 3000 people! The bill will close 3 of the most egregious loopholes that developers are using to circumvent zoning:

*No-count mechanical void space that is at heart 20 stories or more of empty space! 
*Buildings on stilts! 
*Exorbitant ceiling heights!  
  
The bill clarifies the zoning rules so that the obvious intention is spelled out!
 
While advocacy partners continue to fight locally, we can take the fight to Albany! Our goal is to have over 10,000 signatures by the time this bill comes up in the Housing Committee(s). That means, we each need to ask 2-3 friends to sign! 
 
This bill goes beyond Central Park -- it will impact any neighborhood that is facing over-development. We need to rein in developers so that they follow the contextual zoning rules!!!
