We're getting there - we still need your help!

Some of us have hazy photos to remind us we were mothers for the briefest of moments before our lives were forever changed. Some of us have nothing with which to remember those precious early days with our babies. Days when we were told not to pick up our infants, not to cuddle them, not to get 'too close' or 'too fond' of the child we were not allowed to keep.
The above photo - used with permission - is an example of a memento.
A keepsake which offered some small comfort to mothers as they waited to meet the baby who was taken for adoption.
Perhaps it was given to a child who grew up wondering why they had been adopted as a tiny infant. Wondering whether they would reunite with the mother from whose arms they had been torn.
Our campaign will persist until we obtain a full formal apology.
An apology for the lies, the injustices, the cruelty and the indifference each of us suffered at the hands of State-sanctioned and funded institutions - including the NHS.
Please help by sharing our petition as far and as wide as you can.
Thank you
