No appeals process...

The decision for this development sits solely with the Minister for Planning... no council involvement, no VCAT appeals process applies - major loop hole!

The same Minister who ignored Darebin council height restrictions and doubled it to 12 storeys. The same Minister who ignored Darebin council and changed the zoning for Showers Street. The same Minister who has not advertised the planning panel hearing on the website. 

Its hard to have faith the Minister for Planning will make the developer follow the guidelines of the Development Planning Overlay (DPO) and the Urban Design Framework 2017.

The call for the Minister to adequately consult with the community is all we ask. What do they have to hide? 

The precedent set at this site will influence all future developments in this community.
