What I have experienced is not just a legal process, but a reflection of how systems can fail when communication breaks down and accountability is missing. During this time, my life has not been at its best. I have faced moments where I failed under certain circumstances. I do not hide that, and I do not deny it. My transparency is intentional — it protects me from anyone attempting to twist my past or use it to silence me. I stand in my truth, and I move forward from it. From the beginning, I followed every step required to report concerns, file complaints, and request reviews. I reached out to every department involved. I contacted the Orange County Board of Supervisors, including Supervisor Vicente Sarmiento, who oversees the district where I reside. Despite repeated attempts, I received no meaningful response. This silence contributed to the escalation of issues across agencies and left me without the support or clarity any resident deserves. Social Services made changes to my personal information without my knowledge or consent. Family Court overlooked critical details that directly affected how other agencies handled my case. These errors were not isolated — they created a chain reaction that impacted my rights, my record, and my family. Today, after exhausting every administrative path available, my case has reached the Superior Court in a civil action. This is not where I expected to be, but it is where the process has led after years of trying to resolve matters through the proper channels. I am speaking publicly because transparency matters. My experience is not unique — many parents face similar challenges when systems fail to communicate or correct their mistakes. I want the public to understand that persistence is necessary, even when institutions make it difficult. To the County: I will continue to stand up for myself and for the truth.
