Your voices are making it impossible for this injustice to be swept under the rug. Our message is clear: a sentence of two years of house arrest is entirely unfit for a dangerous driving conviction that took 12-year-old Sierra’s life and left her mother with permanent, catastrophic injuries. We are gaining massive momentum, but our time is limited. The Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General only has a strict 30-day window from the date of sentencing to appeal this lenient ruling. They cannot ignore a united community.
