St David Catholic Secondary School once prided itself on its excellence in education, a robust extracurricular program, and a supportive environment for all students. However, these standards have noticeably declined since the current principal assumed leadership. The impact on students and faculty can't be overstated, and for this reason, we urgently call for a change in leadership at our cherished institution.

Personal interaction and communication are essential skills for any effective leader, but our principal lacks these skills. Both students and teachers have reported consistently negative exchanges with him. Parents, too, have found his communication style unprofessional and dismissive. A school leader should foster a positive and progressive learning environment, yet this principal has done the opposite.

The physical condition of our school has also deteriorated. Basic facilities such as the bathrooms remain in disrepair, with no water in the sinks and dilapidated toilets. These conditions are unacceptable and undermine the health and dignity of our students and staff.

Moreover, there are alarming allegations of professional misconduct. It is rumored that the principal is involved in an inappropriate relationship with a teacher. Such conduct is not only unprofessional but sets a poor example for the students who look up to school staff as role models.

Academically, the school is suffering as well. Since this principal stepped into his role, student performance has declined. This troubling trend is exacerbated by the absence of extracurricular activities that used to enrich students' educational experiences.

Perhaps most distressing is the rise in bullying among students. Reports have emerged of bullying incidents occurring in classrooms, often going unchecked, leaving students feeling vulnerable and unsupported.

Our school deserves a principal who is committed, communicative, and compassionate—someone who will prioritize both educational excellence and a nurturing environment. We call upon the relevant educational authorities to review the current leadership at St David Catholic Secondary School and take immediate action to appoint a new principal who will steer us back towards a brighter future.

We, the undersigned  parents,guardians,former students and concerned members of the Petite Esperance and  surrounding communities, respectfully submit this petition to express our serious concerns regarding the leadership management  and overall functioning of the St David Catholic Secondary School.
