A study was carried out by the oldest and largest global organisation for nature conservation. 

IUCN and France funded the study in response to the global biodiversity crisis and the lack of funding for our protected areas. 

“Big game hunting works like a private financial company, which generates the money it needs for its investments and its operations” 

“The calculations (see Appendix 2) show that to conserve a lion for hunting costs around 4 million ISD whilst the market price for its hunt is around 50000 USD”.
