RHINOS IN AFRICAJOHANNESBURG, South Africa
3 Feb 2019

An analysis of five major threatened or endangered game species including African Elephant, African Lion, Black Rhino and Leopard, in four African countries Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania and Zimbabwe found that trophy hunting is managed well in some areas and poorly in others.

The analysis has also found that the US Fish and Wildlife Service the agency responsible for allowing or prohibiting protected species imports could make significant improvements to its permitting process that would help ensure that only trophies which truly do enhance species survival are allowed into the USA.

Please sign and share our petition. The results of this petition will be forwarded to the US delegation to CITES CoP18 and to the Minister for the Interior.
