We're hiring professional advisors to challenge the developers
Hi! We’re happy to report that we’ve had some success in the campaign to replant hundreds of trees felled in North Kensington and ensure that a lovely new park is built. Cem Kemahli, lead councillor for planning in RBKC, has tweeted his support and planning officers have finally agreed to meet us.
You are making it happen!
We need to build on this success and hold the council and developers to account to deliver our basic asks. That’s why we’re hiring planning professionals to advise and support our campaign. Portobello Square developer Peabody has an army of lawyers, and we need more than just volunteers! Of course, this has to be paid for. Please help us raise the money we need to challenge the developers and create a cleaner, greener Golborne Ward!
Every contribution, no matter how small, really makes a difference. If you can't contribute at this time, we completely understand – maybe you could share the link to our crowdfunder on Social Media?
We’re also planning a raffle to raise the balance needed, so more information on that later – but if you have a prize you’d like to contribute, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
Thank you again for your support for cleaner air, greener streets, and more living space!
All the best,
The Wornington Trees team
