Lindenwold Station is one of South Jersey's most heavily utilized transportation hubs. It serves New Jersey Transit's Atlantic City Line commuter rail line and the PATCO Speedline rapid transit line, as well as numerous bus and taxicab services.
Lindenwold is the closest station to the city of Marlton, about five miles to the northeast.

Marlton was home to Christina Grimmie, a young musician who tragically had her life cut short by an evil, insane gunman in June of 2016. Although the rest of the nation has mostly moved on from her loss, her family, friends and fans ("frands" as she liked to call them) have permanent scars.

Seeing how Grimmie was one of the area's most influential people whose life was tragically and abruptly cut short in an act that can only be described as pure evil, it only seems fitting that one of the busiest places in South Jersey is forever renamed in her memory.
