IMPORTANT UPDATE: Last night, DelDOT met with area residents to discuss safety concerns about the Grubb, Harvey and Marsh Roads intersection.

Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) reported that since 2018, there have been 29 accidents at the intersection. Fortunately only two resulted in injury. This resulted in a "moderate" incident rating when compared with other intersections throughout the state.

However, DelDOT is working with residents on some improvements, including changes to the traffic light to allow drivers to make turns.

WHAT'S NEXT: DelDOT will take many of the suggestions residents have offered and publish its comprehensive recommendations on the web next month for feedback, which I will share here when the website is up.

From there, we anticipate another meeting in January to discuss final recommendations and move forward on solutions to this intersection.
