“Hi DOGE Team,

I wanted to reach out because I’ve started a movement to push back against EZPass’s abuse of power in NYC. They’re hitting people with $100 “violations” per toll, even when the mistakes are on their end. People with active EZPass accounts are getting stuck with thousands in unfair fees, towed cars, and even license suspensions. It’s a broken system that’s hurting everyday people.

To make it worse, there’s only one EZPass agency for all NYC residents. If you need customer service, you’re stuck on hold for hours with no real help. We’ve also come across former employees who left because they couldn’t handle the toxic work environment and the way the system abuses its power, forcing people into absurd fees that ruin lives.

On top of that, congestion pricing is just another way of forcing residents into public transportation—which wouldn’t be a problem if the system was safe, clean, and efficient. But despite billions in funding from earnings and taxes over the years, nothing has changed. People are paying more while getting less.

I know DOGE is about challenging unfair systems and standing with the people, and I think this is one of those fights that needs more eyes on it. Would love your help in getting the word out so we can demand real change.
