Ask the Senators to COUNT America’s wild horses and burros first and meanwhile defund population control, roundups and trapping, etc. According to the National Academy of Sciences, there is “no evidence” of overpopulation of America’s wild horses and burros. Remind them of the growing Petition for a Congressional Investigation and Head Count of Wild Horses and Burros in Captivity and in the Wild: https://www.change.org/p/u-s-senate-investigate-the-wild-horse-burro-count-in-captivity-and-freedom American taxpayers and the general public want to know: A.) How much fraud has been committed regarding the wild horse and burro count on public land and in corrals? B.) How many budgets were approved using fraudulent information? C.) How many wild horses have gone to slaughter? D.) How many wild horses and burros have been shot and killed? E.) How many unbranded federally protected wild foals did the kill-buyers get to sell overseas? F.) And more . . . 2.) Inform these elected officials on the Senate Appropriations Committee that you do not want American’s tax dollars to fund unlimited sales or the transfer of wild horses to the states. Ask them to defund anything mentioned in Chris Stewart Amendment as well as but not limited to euthanizing (KILLING), unlimited sales, slaughter, sterilization, or transferring wild horses to the states for use as “work horses” etc. They will end up killed or sold to slaughter and this must be stopped before it starts.
