As I write this, we have just hit 40,000 signatures. I can't thank you all enough for putting your names to this petition, and standing alongside those of us who have survived child sexual abuse.

All our signatures have caught the attention of the media, with the ABC interviewing me about this petition, and our campaign to defrock Cardinal George Pell.

As I said to the ABC, hopefully these tens of thousands of signatures show there's a lot of people out there that aren't happy with the way things are done with the Catholic Church.

Whether Pope Francis takes any notice of it, or just dismisses it, it shows the community of survivors that there are 40,000 people behind us now.

We're not out there on our own.

I plan on sending this petition to Pope Francis, Melbourne Archbishop Peter Comensoli, and Ballarat Bishop Paul Bird.

Can you help me deliver as many signatures as possible to them? Let them read over tens of thousands of names. Names of victims, survivors, and supporters.
