We’ve brought such well-deserved attention to the Arkansas School for the Deaf. The meeting of the matched pair of the band & students from the school was the #1 story on Reddit & the top trending story on Facebook yesterday. Crazy! It got picked up by the AP, NY Daily News, ABC, Yahoo and so much more I can’t even keep up. All bringing much deserved attention to the school which is such a strong asset to our city & our state. I’m hesitant to start naming people for special ‘thanks’ for fear of leaving someone out, but I must mention Stacey Tatera, PR Director at ASD, Jana DeGeorge, Director of Marketing at Verizon Arena, the folks from 102.9 KARN for putting me in touch with Jana, as well as my old high school friends Brad Dawson & Jack Yerton who really helped in the initial stages of kicking this off. The Democrat Gazette posted an article a month or so ago & that helped a lot as well. Thank you. I’ve had a few people ask me ways they can continue to support the school.
