Recently, Australia witnessed a historic moment in our fight for medicinal cannabis - Jenny Hallam was spared conviction for supplying medicinal cannabis messiah to numerous patients suffering from debilitating, painful conditions. This judicial acknowledgement is an important moment for us - the courts are recognising the growing need and overwhelming benefits of access to medicinal cannabis.

The judge noted important points pertaining to Jenny’s situation. He recognised that after being dissatisfied with the limitations of conventional therapy for chronic pain, Jenny had discovered the effectiveness of cannabis oil in treating herself. His findings showed that Jenny only provided others with cannabis oil for medicinal use, and at her own financial loss.

The judge all but exonerated Jenny on the grounds of the immense benefits the others had after commencing use of cannabis oil - a young man dependent on wheelchair saw improvement in his mobility and psychological state, a young girl suffering from severe epilepsy was able to comfortably attend school without any hospitalisations.

We are working hard to make medicinal cannabis accessible to improve the lives of many more people, so that folks like Jenny won’t have to break the law to help others. Please support our efforts, however modestly.

Thank you,

Lucy
