Have you seen the news?

Australian Greens leader Senator Richard Di Natale last week announced he would re-introduce a Bill to the next Parliament which would create a separate regulator for medicinal cannabis - taking it outside the control of the bureaucrats responsible for the mess we're in now. He has written to Bill Shorten asking for Labor support.

CAN YOU TWEET BILL SHORTEN AND ASK HIM TO #FIXDANSLAW?

I too have written to Bill, with a letter co-signed by the General Secretary of the powerful NSW Nurses and Midwives Association - with 64,500 members, it is the biggest Union branch of its type in the country.

While I've all but given up on the present Government I genuinely think Bill Shorten would like to do the decent thing with medicinal cannabis and #FixDansLaw but he does need to know how important people see it as being.

An additional 70,000 names have been added to this petition since I undeclared victory in my quest to make cannabis and cannabis products available to every patient who needs them. Launching a brand new campaign to #FixdansLaw, together we have let the Government and Opposition know that where medicinal cannabis is concerned sick Australians have been failed.

This isn't over - far from it - but we're getting somewhere. Right now, can you send a tweet to Bill Shorten and ask him to #FixDansLaw?

Thank you.
