Corruption has gone mad in Australia. It's a painful truth we live with daily– young people aged 10-18 are being arrested and, in distressing cases, have lost their lives. This is not an image of a nation that holds an appealing (70-79) score on Transparency International's Corruption Perceptions Index. Furthermore, our government's unabashed support for questionable foreign policies, blatant deafness towards the spiraling cost of living crisis, and exclusive attention to News Corp paints a bleak picture of our country's governance, far from the ranking it currently boasts.
