Shootings happen here because of unrestricted access to weapons and ammunition. Disturbed racists will always exist, as they do now around the globe. But here they have free rein to act on their fantasies. The only mystery is why a country would allow a group that thrives on mass murder to exist for $5 million a year. That's all it cost the NRA last year to keep its servile Republican legislators in power, with tools like Ted Cruz costing under a half million each.

No decent person needs the NRA--any idiot can learn to safely handle a gun in a day from their dad or a video. The NRA is a lobbying organization that funnels money to its CEO and to the most dangerous group of fascist politicians in the world. It's a terrorist organization with 5 million American members, a headquarters, and hundreds of American politicians in its pocket.  And it's killing our children by the dozen,
