Jacque Fresco proposed a new way to live together in our world.

In a Resource‑Based Economy, everyone receives everything they need — food, housing, healthcare, knowledge, energy and more — making money unnecessary.

 

 

 

In such a society:

- Basic needs are guaranteed by the system design: no hunger, no homelessness, no untreated illness.

- Dynamic equilibrium of resources: people take what they need and return it when it’s no longer needed. Automated systems ensure new resources are produced when shortages arise and that any surplus is reused or utilized.

- Quality of life is better: with needs met, people are free to learn, create and explore their passions.

- Money is obsolete: resources can be calculated and managed directly using open-source algorithms or AI to reduce required energy footprint.
