Good afternoon folks, Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to you all! Just a quick update on the Toronto Job Action Centre. Because of all the support from our Friends, Families, The Labour Movement, Past Users of the Centre, Steelworkers and of course you, the people that supported us and won! The Action Centre will remain open until next June 30/17, giving us a chance to consider what we should be doing for the people going forward. This is a good example of what can happen when people put together. All the Petitions and Rally's, Meetings, Phone calls were so very important. So the next time we're walking by some guy/girl standing on a corner asking you to sign the petition, pls take a moment and consider what makes change...you do!
