Ripples from the #ReformIELTS campaign are not just being felt in North America and Australia, even UK universities have joined the movement!
The following UK universities have officially added African senior secondary qualifications to their respective English proficiency policies.
We applaud you, University of Sussex, The University of Sheffield, University of Dundee, University of Southampton, and University of Hull for promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) at your respective institutions.
We encourage more UK universities to follow suit and we also anticipate the conduct of Nigeria's census exercise as this is the official data source requested by the UK Home Office to validate Nigeria's inclusion in the Majority English Speaking Country (MESC) list.
A total of 29 universities (and counting) have now made policy changes following our campaign.
