Trigger Warning: Animal Cruelty

A stray dog was brutally cut into pieces by a person in Gwalior. It was still alive and squealing in pain. But couldn't escape the brutality.

A case of cruelty has already been registered against the man, but in our country, laws against animal cruelty are very lenient. Will immediate bail and a meagre Rs 50 fine ever deter people from committing brutal crimes against animals?
