After this elimination from the season 27 semi-finals, the voting structure on Dancing With The Stars clearly needs to change. The viewers are tired of seeing the BEST dancers go home only for a shock factor. We want to see a DANCING COMPETITION, not just a popularity contest. Save that for American Idol.

After careful consideration, here is the voting structure the public wants to see:

Judges are the only ones allowed to score.

Whomever gets the highest judges' score the week before should ALWAYS BE SAFE. If there is a tie at the end of the Season Finale, then and ONLY THEN, will the viewer votes decide. However, throughout the season, viewers vote ONLY on which of the bottom two couples they want to save until the Season Finale.

Alternatively, if viewer votes must remain to decide who is eliminated each week, the judges score counts for 3/4 OF ALL VOTES. Whomever gets the highest judges' score the week before should ALWAYS BE SAFE. If there is a tie, then the tiebreaker goes to the couple with the most viewer votes. HOWEVER, the judges get ONE save per season if they unanimously agree the couple going home should not be eliminated, except during the Season Finale.

This eliminates any of the phenomenonal dancers getting voted off just because another couple's fan base is larger than others.
