On 18/05/17 women and children's shelter  homes in Khusro Park, Nizamuddin were demolished by the DDA which was completely against the orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court dated:16/12/2010. Poor women and children were beaten up by the police and their belongings were destroyed. They have no place to go now. They are back to living on the streets, footpaths and dividers. They have no access to water, toilets, food, education, health and shelter anymore. They are the marginalized section of our society which we tend to ignore, let's not fail them this time and work towards getting their shelter back.
