In addition to having the previous 3 story endings of "Batman: Arkham Knight" be included for optional use, the GOTY edition of "Batman: Arkham Knight" should have a new story ending that should be considered the official canon ending to the story of "Batman: Arkham Knight". That ending should involve Batman somehow making the general populace believe that he and Bruce Wayne are not the same person, and Batman faking his death, followed by Jim Gordon knocking out Scarecrow. After waking up while Gordon is locking him up in the GCPD building, Scarecrow thinks that he has won. A few days later, Batman stops 2 criminals from mugging a young boy's parents and everyone who thought that Batman had died learns that Batman is alive. Scarecrow learns from Batman(who is using fear gas on Scarecrow) that he is alive, Scarecrow has lost, and that if Scarecrow ever threatens the people of Gotham or anyone else ever again, he will show him what it's like to experience true fear. The GOTY edition of "Batman: Arkham Knight" should render Tim Drake & Barbara Gordon becoming a couple & getting married non-canon. The Man-Bat storyline should not be included in the GOTY edition of "Batman: Arkham Knight" and should no longer be considered canon, as a superior Man-Bat storyline that's in line with the Man-Bat storyline in the "Batman: TAS" episode "On Leather Wings" should be included in a new "Batman: Arkham" game that takes place after "Batman: Arkham Origins: Blackgate". An up-close-and-personal fight between Batman and Jason that involves both hand-to-hand combat and gadgets should be added to the "boss battle" against Jason, and the same thing should be done with the "boss battles" against Firefly and Slade. With the GOTY edition of "Batman: Arkham Knight", even after completing 100% of the game, players should still be able to freely roam around Gotham, fight off thugs, and play as Catwoman, Nightwing, and Robin, in addition to being able to play as other characters, including Jason Todd(as Arkham Knight, Red Hood, or the 2nd Robin), Azrael, Slade, Harley Quinn, Joker, Riddler(whose mech should be usable), Penguin, Two-Face, and Scarecrow. After players beat the story mode of the game for the first time, they should be able to use all of the gadgets and all of the upgrades they unlock in their first game save when they re-play the story mode, without the difficulty being raised. Also, after players beat the story mode of the game for the first time, a mission selection option should be unlocked that allows players to re-play any main story mission, as well as any side mission that they have already completed. When playing as Joker in story mode free-roaming(after finishing the story), the Jokermobile from the part of the story that takes place in Batman's mind should be summonable and should be controllable both manually and remotely.

Note: In order to keep things simple, I'll refer to controller buttons by their Playstation names.
Each game should have free-roaming for both story mode and online multiplayer. Many different types of online play should be available, including a type of online play where players are able to form groups that are either alliance-specific, neutral-specific, or all-inclusive. Players should be able to create multiple custom characters and multiple custom vehicles that can be used for online multiplayer and free-roaming in story mode(after finishing the story).
Even after 100% completion, players should still be able to freely roam around and fight thugs. After players beat the story mode for the first time, they should be able to use all of the gadgets and all of the upgrades they unlock in their first game save when they re-play the story mode, without the difficulty being raised. Also, after players beat the story mode for the first time, a mission selection option should be unlocked.
There should be numerous unlockable characters to play as in both story mode free-roaming(after finishing the story) and in online multiplayer.
Unlockable character skins should be selected by holding the Triangle button while playing as a character, and unlockable vehicle skins should be selected by holding the Triangle button while manually or remotely controlling a vehicle.
All of the previous in-game costumes & appearances of the playable characters that have appeared in [a] previous "Batman: Arkham" game[s] should be unlockable.
Tools(firing weapons, bladed weapons, shields, batons, explosives, batarangs, birdarangs, disruptors, etc) & special abilities(cloaking, forward charge attacks, etc) for characters & vehicles should be selected by pressing the Up D-Pad button and pressing the X button after highlighting the chosen tool or special ability.
All firing weapons should have rapid fire and bladed weapons, batons, shields, & explosives should be able to be thrown rapidly, held by characters after being selected, and used while being held by pressing the Square button. Batarangs & birdarangs should also be rapidly usable.
There should be an on/off option that allows for all tools & special abilities that are available to specific playable characters & drivable vehicles to be usable by all playable characters(including custom characters) & drivable vehicles(including custom vehicles) in story mode free-roaming(after finishing the story) and in online multiplayer.
Aiming should be done with the L2 button, while firing & throwing should be done with the R2 button.
Jumping should be done by pressing the X button and superjumping(which should be able to be done rapidly) for characters capable of it should be done by holding the X button.
Cape stuns should be done by pressing the Circle button.
Combat-rolling(which should be able to be done rapidly) should be done by holding the Circle button.
Pressing the R3 button should cause a character to hold up a shield from the tool selection while using a non-shield tool. When this feature is used, the character should be able to hit objects(such as enemies) with the shield by pressing the Circle button.
Holding the R3 button should cause a character to crouch.
Detective Mode(and the equivalents of it used by non-Bat-Family-members) should be triggered by pressing the L1 button.
Flight/hovering for characters & vehicles capable of it should be triggered by holding the L1 button.
While moving, superspeed(which should be infinitely usable) for characters & vehicles capable of it should be triggered by double-pressing the Triangle button.
Swinging via swinging/grappling tools should be done by repeatedly holding down & letting go of the R1 button.
After a special ability has been selected, it should be used by pressing the L1 button & the R1 button.
Characters & vehicles that are capable of wall-scaling and superspeed should be able to go superspeeding up a building by either moving toward it and double-pressing the Triangle button or double-pressing the Triangle button while wall-scaling. In addition to being able to start wall-scaling by superjumping at a building and being able to go superspeeding up a building by superjumping at it while already at superspeed, characters & vehicles should be able to start wall-scaling by pressing the Circle button while at a building.
Vehicle movement should be caused solely by using the left analog stick(like character movement) and should not require keeping a button held down.
In scenarios where 2 characters are working together, a player should be able to switch which of the 2 characters they are playing as by pressing the Left D-Pad button. In scenarios where more than 2 characters are working together, a player should be able to switch which of the characters they are playing as by pressing the Left D-Pad button & a specific other button. For example, in a scenario where Batman, Nightwing, Robin, and Catwoman are working together, pressing the Left D-Pad button & the X button should switch to Batman, pressing the Left D-Pad button & the Square button should switch to Nightwing, pressing the Left D-Pad button & the Circle button should switch to Robin, and pressing the Left D-Pad button & the Triangle button should switch to Catwoman.
The [main] vehicle used by a character should be summoned by pressing the Right D-Pad button. During story mode free-roaming and online multiplayer, a player should be able to change which of a character's vehicles is summonable if that character has multiple usable vehicles in the game.
There should be unlockable on/off tweaks, like unlimited use of all tools & special abilities, unlimited health(which, obviously, should not be usable during online play), unlimited in-game cash, etc.
The playable character selection screen & the drivable vehicle selection screen should be brought up by pressing the Select button, which should also be how map screens, the character bio selection screen, the upgrade selection screen, and the on/off tweak selection screen are brought up.
Audio logs and cutscenes should be pausable, rewindable, and fast-forwardable.
After players beat the story mode for the first time, a quick-travel option should be unlocked.
Both 3rd-person & 1st-person perspectives should be usable, with customizable options like in the enhanced version of "Grand Theft Auto 5". Changing between 1st-person & 3rd-person perspectives and selecting which of the customizable options will be used should be done under "Options" in the pause menu. Obviously, the 1st-person perspective should turn off when a player's in a freeflow combat situation and then turn back on after the freeflow combat situation has ended.
In addition to being able to roam through all of the Batcave, players should be able to roam through all of Wayne Manor and use all of its various entrances into the Batcave, in addition to being able to use all of the Batcave's various exits, each of which should lead back to one of Wayne Manor's entrances into the Batcave, except, of course, for the vehicle exits that lead to the outside world. The Batcave entrance in Bruce Wayne's study should have 2 Batpoles. There should be a platform halfway down the Batpoles that has 3 suits(1 for Batman, 1 for Nightwing, and 1 for Robin), which players should have the option of using or not using when they go down one of the Batpoles.
Either you should get Arleen Sorkin to reprise her role as Harley Quinn or you should get someone who can do the same Harley Quinn voice as Arleen Sorkin to play Harley Quinn. Also, you should either get Henry Silva to reprise his role as Bane or get someone who can do the same Bane voice as Henry Silva to play Bane.
In the next "Batman: Arkham" game, which should take place a few weeks after the GOTY edition version of the "Batman: Arkham Knight" storyline, all of the Gotham-based locations from the previous "Batman: Arkham" games(including "Batman: Arkham Origins: Blackgate" and DLC story campaigns, like "Batgirl: A Matter of Family" and "Harley Quinn's Revenge") should be roamable. Spoiler(Stephanie Brown, Tim Drake's ex-girlfriend) should be involved in a series of side missions in the game. The game's story should be inspired by the "No Man's Land" comic book storyline, in which Cassandra Cain becomes the new Batgirl. At the end of the game's story, Batman should encounter Talia al Ghul, who should reveal that she and her father were resurrected via a Lazarus Pit by members of the League of Assassins, and should introduce Batman to his & Talia's 10-year-old son, Damian(who should be voiced by Stuart Allen in future "Batman: Arkham" games that take place after this one). The Batsuit that Batman uses in the game should be the V8.04 Batsuit, but with new upgrades, including upgraded gloves that have shock capabilities(Pressing the Down D-Pad button should be what activates the shock feature.), Battle Armored Tech(BAT) capabilities(Double-pressing the Down D-Pad button should be what activates the BAT feature.), and thermal capabilities used to thaw frozen objects(Holding the Down D-Pad button should be what activates the thermal feature.). Ace(Bathound) should be referenced and his character bio should state that he joined the Bat Family and became Bathound a few months after Batgirl(Barbara Gordon) learned the true identities of Batman(Bruce Wayne) & Robin(Dick Grayson, who should be 10 or 11 at that time) and became an official member of the Bat Family, and that Ace went crimefighting as Bathound only on certain occasions. Besides the Batmobile, the following Bat Family vehicles should be usable in the game: the Batcycle, the Batpod, the Batwing, the Bat, the Batcopter, the Batboat, and the Birdcycle.
The 2nd future "Batman: Arkham" game should take place after "Batman: Arkham Origins: Blackgate". The game's story should be based on "Batman: The Long Halloween".
