This comment landed on the petition to remove Amber Heard from Aquaman 2 yesterday. I was told to:

“Shut down this pathetic petition, Justice for Amber! Support women shame on you Jeanne.”

That right there is exactly what’s wrong with what’s going on right now. Amber Heard expecting people to believe her just because she’s a woman.

“Tell the world, Johnny. Tell them I Johnny Depp, a man, I'm a victim too of domestic violence... and see how many people believe or side with you."

And at first, she was right. People did side with her just because she’s a woman. Even in the recent verdict in Johnny Depp’s libel case against the Sun, the judge ridiculously said that even though Johnny had the preponderance of evidence, he was choosing to believe Amber Heard. What woman would lie about being the victim of domestic abuse, right?

Well, we know the answer to that one, don't we?

Heard may be celebrating right now, but the libel case isn’t over. Not by a long shot. Johnny and his team have 21 days from the verdict date to appeal the verdict. And, according to Johnny’s legal team, the verdict is so absurd that it’s unthinkable not to appeal.

I can neither confirm nor deny that such an appeal will take place, so I’ll just suppose that it will. And if it does, the verdict must certainly be overturned.

Regarding Justice Nicol, it’s rumored that his wife is BFFs with one of Amber’s lawyers. If that’s true, can we say “conflict of interest” much?

As for me, no. I won’t support women just because they’re women. I will support VICTIMS no matter what gender they are. I support Johnny, a male victim of domestic abuse. I hope his verdict is overturned, so that men in the UK and around the world can feel safer coming forward seeking support. Nobody should feel so victimized by society that they can’t get help.

Shame on me for not supporting Amber because she's a woman? No, honey. Shame on you for supporting an abuser.
