A new reply by Johnny Depp's legal team addresses how Amber Heard's counterclaim should be dismissed for multiple reasons.

First, she fails to state a claim for declaratory judgement. In her opposition, Ms. Heard fails to state a single case recognizing the viability of a standalone claim for a declaratory judgement. Basically, she's outta gas because of anti-SLAPP statutes.

Second, Ms. Heard fails to allege computer crimes under the VA code. She can't cite where the alleged "smear campaign" is immoral or unlawful. Further, she can't prove that anything said by Mr. Depp was obscene or illegal as it relates directly to her.

And third, calling someone a liar isn't defamation. Especially if they've already been proven to be a liar.

In short, Heard's counterclaim is a whole bunch of her being butthurt, without any legal substance.

What do you think? Should Heard's counterclaim be dismissed? Or will she get to keep beating Johnny over the head with it? Let us know.
