Amber Heard's former makeup artist Melanie Inglessis filed a motion asking not to have to testify via live feed in johnny Depp's upcoming libel case against the Sun Newspaper.

The motion was denied. She will have to testify.

If you remember, Melanie said in a declaration that she saw bruises around Amber Heard's eye(s) when she made the actress up for an appearance on the James Cordon late night show just a day or two after Heard claimed that her (then) husband Johnny Depp beat her up. 

However, other people, including Heard's stylist, have said that they saw no marks on Heard's face the very same day.

Now Melanie's in the hot seat. We all know that Johnny never beat Amber up, so there could not possibly have been bruises anywhere on her face from him hitting her. Melanie's stuck between a rock and a hard place. Does she tell the truth and admit that she was lying before? Or does she stick with the lie and risk perjuring herself?

The Sun trial starts on 10 July, just one month away.
