Mikaela Spielberg, Steven Spielberg's daughter has been jailed for domestic assault with bodily injury after a physical fight with her fiance.

The two were out drinking, and a heated argument developed. Mikaela began pelting fiance Chuck Pankow with various objects. One struck him in the hand, leaving a visible injury. 

Mikaela's bail has been paid, and she's expected back in court on March 9th. 

This is another example of a woman committing domestic abuse. It's not as uncommon as people might think. I'm just glad that the mainstream media has started reporting about cases like this.

Hopefully, with such a high profile case as Johnny Depp's making the news, more men will come forward, and be believed and treated with as much empathy as female survivors.
