"As a regional college, we need to ensure that the courses we deliver meet the needs of students, employers and the local economy, offer a high quality learning experience and provide opportunities for students to progress to employment or further study once they have completed their course ''
Having been taught by the gentlemen who handle this course I have never felt more nurtured and cared for and made to feel that my knowledge mattered. As a female car novice and as you can imagine a hot headed one at that I took more time to grasp what I was learning. some days everything would go perfect and I'd be so proud of myself. other days 1 nut, 1 single nut wouldn't budge and iv have to call a 5 minute hulk moment. turning green and bursting out of my overalls! anyhoo the tutors then come over and say "right...well that's not working, what will we try next." we then go through 1,2,3 sometimes 4 other routes to fix the problem. this is what I love about this trade, the problem solving. the jobs needs to be done so we find a way to do it! fife needs mechanics so we need access to these courses. it's just another problem were going to have to find a way to fix.
